2016 was a productive year for our chapter including our first trip to the community of Guadalupe Carne in Honduras. We'll be traveling there again in 2017 to construct roadway improvements to protect against flooding and assess their failing drinking water infrastructure.
We will also be returning to the community of Les Anglais, Haiti to assess the damage caused by Hurricane Mattheax (Matthew). Les Anglais was hit directly, as was much of Haiti, by Hurricane Matthew.
The April 2016 earthquake in Ecuador narrowly missed our project work in Ostiones. We are assessing communities in the surrounding areas to determine where our efforts can best benefit the region.
