For millions of people around the world, drinking contaminated water is a dangerous reality. For the past two years, Columbia University Engineering students have partnered with a community in need, the rural village of Amanfrom in Ghana, to begin to change that. In August 2016, 5 students, and a professional mentor will travel to Amanfrom and build two wells with hand pumps. We have been working hard during the school year designing the wells, mapping the community, and monitoring previous water and sanitation projects; and now we finally have the chance to put our engineering to good use! Your tax-deductible gift will bring clean water to a community in desperate need of it and will make a difference in the lives of many.

For each donation we receive, that's another inch closer we get to our goal - literally! Each donation of $20 will buy another meter drilled into the ground to find water, and there are 200 meters to go. If you are ready to help out, please give online at https://support.ewb-usa.org/cuewb. If you can't make a donation at this point, help us reach our goal by sharing this on Facebook and Twitter! Or, even better, send an e-mail to friends you think might be interested in contributing and include the link.

We, the Ghana Program at Columbia Engineers Without Borders, truly appreciate any support you can provide.
